The bed4U hotel chain will begin, before the end of the year, the construction works of three hotels: one in Bilbao with 91 rooms, another in Santander with 93, and a third in San Sebastián with 27. New projects to which is added the urban processing, already well advanced, of a fourth hotel also located in the capital of Gipuzkoa, with more than 100 rooms, and whose works would begin during the first quarter of 2020.

The Navarrese business group B31, to which the chain belongs, thus gives a new impetus to its expansion after the acquisition, in 2018, of the Hotel & Spa Pamplona El Toro and the incorporation of two tourist apartment buildings in Tudela in 2019.

With these openings, the B31 Group will add to its portfolio a total of 10 establishments, managed under the banners bed4U, Apartamentos4U and Eventshotels, and which, together with the different restaurant brands that comprise it, will reach an approximate turnover of 23 million euros per year and will employ more than 500 workers.

The planned investment for these four hotels, all of them newly built, reaches 25 million euros, undertaken by bed4U in joint venture with local entrepreneurs, who are committed to its innovative hotel concept.

The new hotel projects will involve a repositioning and an 'upgrade' of the Navarra chain's business model, focused on modern urban "lifestyle" hotels with innovative services based on technology and the personalization of the customer experience.

"Once our position in the North zone has been strengthened, we continue to analyze new growth opportunities in the rest of the national geography."

Detail of the new hotels

bed4U Bilbao. This 3-star hotel is located in the Zabalburu area of the capital of Biscay, a very practical location, easily accessible by car and close to the city center. It is scheduled to open in January 2021.

A few steps from the reference hospital of the region, in the Valdecilla area, is the 3-star bed4U Santander. An ideal location for both leisure tourism and business trips, right at the entrance of the city and close to landmarks such as the industrial zone, the Fishing Quarter, RENFE and the Ferry. Its opening will also take place in early 2021.

In the Gros neighborhood of San Sebastián, bed4U will open a new 2-star hotel that will include studios with their own kitchen and multiple rooms, offering clients an interesting mix of accommodation options for short and long stays. Its location, in a 'prime' area of the city, near Zurriola Beach and Kursaal, seems expressly conceived for family, business and surf tourism. The new accommodation will open its doors to the public in the third quarter of 2020.

The fourth of the projects, also located in San Sebastián (3 stars), and at a very advanced stage, will open to the public predictably in the third quarter of 2021.
